The Seattle Transfer Company operated a railroad for the purposes of transferring freight between OR&N, NP, and GN yards in the Seattle area. This pass was issued in 1895 and is pass #3! Crisp edges and no folds with light glue staining on the back, a beautiful pass from a small operation in the Pacific Northwest.

1896 pass from the UPD&GRy. A super piece of Colorado railroading history with a beautiful vignette and graphics printed on light blue card stock. Some light staining on the back but overall excellent condition.

MONTANA UNION RAILWAY

Item # 11380

This Montana Union Railway pass is from 1894 and one of their nicest pass designs. The printing is a copper color with a silver overlaid highly detailed Pullman Palace passenger car in the middle. The card stock is a pale green. Glue stains on the back and a couple of tiny places of paper laminate loss but still one of the hardest to find Montana passes in existence.

EVERETT & MONTE CRISTO RAILWAY

Item # 11381

1893 pass from the E&MC Railway. This pass was issued when the road was perhaps less than a year old and still building up the Stillaguamish river in Snohomish County, Washington. Chartered in March of 1892, the road lasted until 1900, briefly becoming the Monte Cristo Railway before being taken over by the Northern Pacific Railway. This pass has brown writing on blue cardstock and is in excellent condition with only minor stains on the back. Just a spectacular piece of Washington history.
